Peter and John Heal a Lame Man
Acts 3:1-10
A Lame Man Meets Peter and John
One day, Peter and John went up to the temple to pray. As they entered the temple, they saw a lame man sitting by the Beautiful Gate, begging for money. The man had been lame since birth, and he had never been able to walk. Peter and John looked at the man, and Peter said, "Look at us."
Peter Preaches to the Crowd
The man looked up at Peter and John, and Peter began to preach to him. He told the man about Jesus Christ and how Jesus had the power to heal him. The man listened to Peter's words, and he began to believe in Jesus. Peter then said to the man, "In the name of Jesus Christ, stand up and walk." The man stood up and walked, and the crowd that had gathered around cheered and praised God.
The Man is Healed
The man was overjoyed to be able to walk again. He thanked Peter and John for healing him, and he began to follow Jesus. The crowd was amazed at what they had seen, and they believed in Jesus Christ. Peter and John continued to preach the gospel, and many people came to believe in Jesus.
